Die Professionalisierung dieser logistischen Arbeit ist deshalb strukturiert voranzubringen. Continued dynamic developments have been predicted for the logistics sector. It has become a key factor in manufacturing. Through its diversity it also represents a motor for employment. The trend continues to indicate growth of turnover and employment opportunities. Logistics has become a commonly used term and logistics processes are increasingly implemented in other sectors. The significance of qualified logistical work becomes increasingly important.
Hence, the professionalisation of work has to be brought forward in a structured way. Simple worksteps do not represent the entirety of logistical work any longer, shop floor personnel has to be able to handle electonic equipment for steering processes just as well as the dispatcher in the office or the logistics planner in cooperation with the customer.
