Mit dem SOLOS-Modell können Beschäftigte ihre Kompetenz entwickeln. Der Lernprozess findet mit unterstützender Lernbegleitung in realen Arbeitszusammenhängen statt. Die Lernbegleitung wird dabei als Bestandteil der Führungskultur gesehen.

In order to bring competence development for logistical work forward, SOLOS utilises the input of everyday work with all its challenges. These impulses are regarded as learning causes – they have a stron impact: changes and solutions that are developed and implemented by a learning group constitute an immediate benefit for all actors involved whilst contributing to their competence development. Initial success encourages and motivates to take the next steps, the continuity of such learning efforts in a group secure the competence development of each individual.
